Slop Pizza collects only the content of messages you send us via SMS or phone call. This includes the text of your message and the phone number it came from, which Twilio provides as part of normal message delivery.

Our website (slop.pizza) does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or any other tracking technology. If you subscribe to our newsletter via Buttondown, Buttondown's own privacy policy governs that subscription.

2. How We Use Your Data

Messages you send are processed by an AI agent to generate a response. We do not store your messages or phone number beyond what is necessary to process and respond to your current interaction.

Specifically:

Your message is forwarded to an AI language model for processing.
The AI generates a response, which is sent back to you.
Your message and phone number are not retained after the interaction completes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

Twilio — Handles SMS and voice message delivery. Twilio receives your phone number and message content as part of normal operation. See Twilio's Privacy Policy.
AI Model Providers — Your message content is sent to an AI language model (such as DeepSeek) for processing. These providers do not receive your phone number.
Buttondown — If you subscribe to our newsletter, Buttondown stores your email address. See Buttondown's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties except as described above (the services we use to operate).

5. Data Retention

We do not maintain a database of user messages or phone numbers. Messages are ephemeral: processed in real time and not stored after the interaction completes.

6. Your Rights
